2006 Little Bear Beginner Enduro

This year's beginner enduro was held at the Middle Waddell staging area in Olympia's Capitol Forest. The event has been held here for several years, and people seem to enjoy coming back for more. We love this place!

The enduro school was Saturday morning, taught by VP Dean Dorsett and our current President, Sara Chandler. After riders learned the technical minutiae of enduro time-keeping, their bikes were sound tested and the first riders went out at 12:01.

Everything came off without a hitch. The weather was perfectly hot, making for some dusty trails, and hardly any of the famous slick-as-grease Capitol mud.

A big THANK YOU to the Tacoma Trail Cruisers for once again generously letting CFMC members camp on their property for the weekend.
